We booked by email early in the year. We paid 650 EEK ($75 australian) for a room with shower and toilet but without breakfast as they did not offer breakfast until 08h30 which was too late for us. We were not given the use of the kitchen but we used the electric jug in the dining room to make our tea and coffee.

Character

A well maintained seaside boarding house. There are berry bushes in the garden and we gorged ourselves on redcurrants. It was extremely windy. I washed out my gear and had to use ten pegs to hold a shirt on the line. We did not go back into town for an evening meal but fed on tinned fish, black bread and salami. Our bikes were parked undercover in a pasageway off the back patio and just outside our room.

Verdict

Relatively expensive but an acceptable overnighter.
