The Fairy Martin is apparently resident at Taylor's all year round. It is a very active feeder on midges and mosquitoes. It never seems to settle other than in rainy weather when groups of them can be seen holding stop-work meetings on the power lines that run along West Boundary Road.

It is a gutsy little bird and the pic below shows one seeing off a Square Tailed Kite.
