We have had a pair of these birds hanging around the house all this winter. They are rather shy and fly off at the slightest movement. I photographed these through the none too clean glass of the kitchen window. I had difficulty identifying them at first but when I saw one run rapidly up the vertical side of a wooden fence post I realised that they are Tree-Creepers. They are slightly larger than a robin.
